At HDFC Life, we truly believe that our children hold the ability to surprise us with their talent and capabilities. Taking this thought forward, we bring to you "HDFC Life Idea YoungStars" - a contest that acknowledges and supports the ideas of young minds by giving them a platform to showcase their innovation and determination to add value to society in their own ways.

We, at HDFC Life are committed to encouraging students to propose solutions to various problems at the local and community levels. With the aim to equip tomorrow"s leaders in innovation, we"re reaching out to these Idea YoungStars.

OBJECTIVES

To encourage students to think beyond the curriculum.
To provide an opportunity for the expression of ingenious thoughts.
To generate innovative and creative solutions to problems faced by us at a local and community level.

ELIGIBILITY

Students should be in the age group of 12-17 years of age and have the authorization from a parent to participate.
Students from all government or private schools are invited to participate, irrespective of their educational boards.
Students need to upload their original and creative ideas/innovations, along with the problem it aims to solve, online at www.ideayoungstars.in

Students can choose one or more topics from the list below for their entry.

Greener City - Ideas to increase greenery within the community and throughout the city to create a more sustainable and livable environment.
Pollution - Ideas to tackle pollution in a city by driving collective action towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable urban environment. This can be about tackling Air, Water, Plastic, Soil, or any other kind of pollution.
Cleanliness and Sanitation - Ideas to enhance the cleanliness of community spaces while simultaneously improving the beauty and livability of the city.
Road Safety - Ideas to enhance the safety of city roads, particularly during high-traffic periods such as school hours, ensuring the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists alike.
Technology / App / Gadget-led idea - Ideas for technology-driven apps or digital device-led solutions have the potential to catalyze transformative change in society and improve the quality of life.
