Term and Conditions

This Campaign is being organized by Digital Radio (Mumbai) Broadcasting Limited., a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and having its corporate office at "B" Wing, 3rd Floor, Sun Mill Compound Lower Parel, Mumbai - 400013., hereinafter referred to as “Organizer” and is being sponsored by HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and having its registered office at: 11th to 14th floor, Apollo Mills Compound, Lodha Excelus, NM Joshi Marg, Mahalaxmi, Mmbai 400011.

Please read the terms and conditions of the Campaign before participating in it (hereinafter referred to as the “Campaign”). By participating/ availing this Campaign, it is deemed that the participants/ customers/ consumers (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Participant”) and/or Winners have irrevocably and unconditionally accepted all terms & conditions contained herein, including any/all amendment, modification, etc. made thereto without demur and shall throughout remain bound to them as under:

  1. Agreement to Terms and Conditions -
    1. By participating in this Campaign, Participants fully and unconditionally agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions available on https://www.ideayoungstars.in
    2. Organizer reserves the right to exclude any person from the Campaign on grounds of misconduct or criminal record.
    3. Organizer reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend the Campaign, at any time at its absolute discretion, without assigning any reason or prior intimation to the participant.
  1. Eligibility & Participation -
    1. This Campaign is open to all Indian citizens across age group of 12 years to 17 years without limitation. However, the Organizer reserve the unequivocal right to disqualify any entry they deem offensive/obscene/hurtful.
    2. The content uploaded by the Participants should not have been sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any third party. In addition. The Participant must possess ownership of the content being submitted by them as an entry for the contest.
    3. The Participants are permitted to submit their entries in the form of videos, audio and images as per the stipulated format mentioned on the aforementioned link. Each Participant will only be permitted to make a single entry for their participation in the contest.
    4. The Participants represent and warrant that all the information provided by them is factual and do not suffer from any falsities. It is reiterated that the Organizer will have the full authority to disqualify any entry into the Campaign in the event that falsifications are detected in the information provided by the Participants.
    5. The Participants further represent and warrant that they have read and understood the associated Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy or any other document on the microsite in relation to the Campaign and shall abide by the provisions of all these documents hereto.
    6. Family members of employees of HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd, Red Fm and Zenith, A Div of TLG India Pvt Ltd are refrained from participating in the said contest.
  1. How to Participate
    1. To participate in the Campaign, Participants will be required to submit their basic demographic details like your Students Name, Parent’s Phone Number, Parents email id and Location, to map their registration details with the accurate category of Contest participation. In the event that the Participant is accessing the Campaign through any social media service, the Organizer may additionally collect the username and any other information that the Participant will permit the social media service to share with the Organizer.
    2. After confirming their registration details, the Participants will be required to confirm their mobile number by entering the OTP onto the website.
    3. Upon confirmation of the mobile number, the Participants will be allowed to submit their entries for the Campaign.
    4. The Organizer shall undertake to secure the information provided by the Participants in line with the applicable industry standards for security and data storage. In addition, the Organizer will be duty-bound to follow all applicable data protection and privacy laws in India.
  1. Scoring System -
    1. The scoring for the entry of the Participant will be based on a combined weightage of Judges Points and votes garnered on the microsite. Organizer’s decision shall be final and binding in all matters related to the Campaign is subject to all requirements set forth herein.
    2. The judges shall exercise their judgment fairly while scoring the entries of the Participants without offering any preferential treatment to any Participant regardless of their age, gender, community, profession.

All prizes are subject to deduction of tax at source as per the prevailing Income Tax Rules.

  1. Intellectual Property-
    1. All rights, title and interest, including but not limited to the Intellectual Property Rights, in the Campaign material(s) and in any and all responses received shall vest solely and exclusively with the Organizer at all times. The Organizer or any person or entity permitted by the Organizer in this regard shall be entitled to use the responses received or any information in connection with the entry in any media for future Campaign, marketing, publicity and any other purpose, without any permission and or payment to the Participant.
    2. All material submitted in connection with the Campaign (whether written, audio, electronic or visual form, or a combination of those) or any photographs, video and/or film footage and/or audio recording taken of Participants are assigned to the Organizer upon submission and become the property of the Organizer exclusively. The Organizer may use the material in any medium in any reasonable manner it sees fit. Copyright in any such material remains the sole property of the Organizer.
  1. General Conditions-
    1. The Participant understands and agrees that the selected Winner(s) alone shall be entitled to the prizes, subject to all terms and conditions mentioned herein, and furnishing of correct and complete details as required by the Organizer (including but not limited to) in the prescribed manner and to the entire satisfaction of the Organizer.
    2. The Campaign will be promoted at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
    3. The prize can neither be exchanged nor redeemed for cash/ any non-monetary consideration nor it is transferable.
    4. The prize is subject to the applicable laws of India. The prize would be delivered/ handed over to the Winner only upon proper identification and verification of the Participant to the full satisfaction of the Organizer. All Winners shall be duly required to provide a copy of their PAN card and satisfactory identity proofs.
    5. While accepting the Prize under the Campaign, the Winner(s) may be required to execute an “indemnity and release of claims” form as may be provided by Organizer, as the case may be, which shall release the Organizer of all liability, loss, damage, demand, claim, etc. in connection with the Campaign and prizes contemplated under this Campaign. Failure to complete and sign any documents requested by Organizers may result in disqualification of such Participant and/or Winner. Thereafter, the Organizer, at its discretion, will be entitled to choose the next winner. All decisions of Organizer shall be final in this regard.
    6. Organizer are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the terms and conditions contained herein. All information provided in the Campaign is provided on “as-it-is” basis without any warranty of any kind. Organizer, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. or any of its sponsors/ partners make no representations, and further disclaim themselves from all express, implied, and statutory warranties of any kind towards the Participants, Winners and/or any third party with respect to accuracy, timelines, completeness, merchantability, or fitness of the Campaign.
    7. Organizer shall provide the prize on “as-it-is” basis without any warranty or guarantee (whether express or implied) regarding the prize covering its quality, suitability, merchantability or its fitness. The Organizer, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. disclaims itself from all liabilities, including but not limited to, those arising due to any deficiency/ defect in the Campaign and/or prize and for any consequential damages/ losses arising with respect to the Campaign and/or the prize.
    8. All rights, title and interest, including but not limited to Intellectual Property Rights in the Campaign and/or any other promotional material(s) shall vest solely and exclusively with Organizer at all times. In connection with the Campaign, the Organizer or any person or entity permitted by the Organizer shall be entitled to use personal details of Participant and/or Winners such as names, characters, photographs, voices, videotape, etc. for any media promotions, marketing activity, publicity and likewise purposes. By voluntarily participating in the Campaign, Participant and/or Winner(s) hereby waive off all their rights to claim royalty, remuneration or legally challenge due to any such use of their personal details by the Organizer.
    9. Organizers reserves its right to change, defer, alter or cancel this Campaign in part or full, or change any or all terms and conditions of the Campaign, without giving any prior intimation/ notice of any kind. Further, it shall not be liable for any consequential losses/ damages to any Participant and/or Winners in this regard. Decision of the Organizer in general, and with respect to this Campaign in particular shall be full, final, binding and non-contestable upon the Participant and/or the Winners.
    10. Nothing contained herein amounts to a commitment or representation by the Organizers to conduct further likewise Campaign or schemes.
    11. Under no circumstance the Organizers, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. shall be liable to the Participant, Winners and/or any third party for any loss of profits or lost opportunity, or for any indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever, even if Organizers has been advised of the possibility of any such damages. The Participant/ Winners specifically agree not to file and/or initiate in person or through any family member or through any third party, any criminal and/or civil proceedings/ complaints/ applications in any courts or forum in India against Organizers, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. to claim any damages for any losses or seek relief in connection with the Campaign and/or the prizes. The Participant/ Winners specifically agree that Organizers, its affiliates, its group companies, their employees, officers, directors or any other person and/or sponsors shall not be responsible for any claims/ liabilities/ losses (including legal fees) arising out of and in relation to any injury/ damage/ harm/ loss/ death/ mental or emotional trauma suffered by the Participant or prize Winners in any manner whatsoever in connection with the Campaign and/or the prizes.
    12. Organizers shall not be liable to perform any of its obligations under the Campaign or in respect of the Prize where it is unable to do so as a result of unforeseen circumstances, Force Majeure conditions such as epidemic outbreak, pandemic including but not limited to COVID-19, lockdown or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This Campaign is subject to promotional availability and government regulations including lockdown restrictions caused due to the pandemic.
    13. Organizers are empowered to take a decision in case of any conditions, circumstances and scenarios beyond these terms and conditions of the Campaign.
    14. The Campaign and the terms and conditions herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. All matters with respect to the Campaign and/or prizes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi only. The Campaign shall be deemed void where prohibited by law.

Any entry including or depicting anything which is foul, indecent, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, objectionable, inappropriate or against public policy or public morality, shall lead to disqualification of the Participant at sole discretion of the Organizer
    17. A Participant, by participating in this contest hereby represents and warrants that all the submissions are their original works and no copyright and/or trademark and/or other intellectual property rights have been violated by such submission.
    18. Organizers reserve the right to disqualify the partner/s or the winner from the benefits of the contest if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the prize under the contest or otherwise by participating in the contest.
    19. The Participant / voter acknowledges and consent to submitting their contact details allowing Organizers to send offers, solicitations or other product brochures to them and for contacting them. The participant / voter authorizes Organizers and its representatives to Call, SMS or communicate via WhatsApp. This consent overrides any registration for DNC / NDNC.
    20. HDFC Life, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. disclaims itself from all liabilities, including but not limited to, those arising due to any deficiency/ defect in the Campaign and/or prize and for any damages/ losses / claims arising with respect to the Campaign and/or the prize.
    21. HDFC Life, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. make no representations, and further disclaim themselves from all express, implied, and statutory warranties of any kind towards the Participants, Winners and/or any third party with respect to accuracy, timelines, completeness, merchantability, or fitness of the Campaign
    22. The Participant/ Winners specifically agree that HDFC Life its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. shall not be responsible for any claims/ liabilities/ losses (including legal fees) arising out of and in relation to any injury/ damage/ harm/ loss/ death/ mental or emotional trauma suffered by the Participant or prize Winners in any manner whatsoever in connection with the Campaign and/or the prizes.
    23. Under no circumstance HDFC Life, its management, directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, agents, representatives, etc. shall be liable to the Participant, Winners and/or any third party for any loss of profits or lost opportunity, or for any indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever, even if they were advised of the possibility of any such damages.
